CLAY COUNTY CEMETERIES

Taken from Clay, Jackson, and Putnam Counties, Tennessee, an index by Charles A. Reeves, Jr.

Those marked with an asterisk (*) are identified on the Clay County map.

Most of these entries are from Walter Webb's book (Clay County, Tennessee Tombstone Inscriptions; Walter E. Webb; Dale Hollow Lake; Celina, TN 38551; used with permission). Those with old dates in brackets are from earlier references and may have been renamed and/or may be duplicates of other entries. A few cemeteries are shown on the USGS topo maps that aren't listed elsewhere; these have numbers above 267 and are listed twice to aid in location, by both number and alphabetical.

Note: This list and the associated map are being updated [11 Jun 2016]. We will post a message on TNGenWeb when these are completed.
