Joseph A. Dykes born February 7, 1833 in Hawkins County, Tennessee son of William Dykes "of Mount Carmel" (1805-?) and Annah Gallimore (1812-1863). Joseph died May 11, 1917. Joseph married three times (1st) Rachel Montieth on April 1, 1856, in Greene County, Tennessee (2nd) Lydia M. Phillips on November 1, 1858, in Greene County, Tennessee(3rd) Rebecca A. White (Bright) on December 16, 1899 in Greene County, Tennessee.
