after war, married Nancy Elizabeth Hollowell and moved to homestead in southwest
Oklahoma - Greer, Jackson, and Harmon counties. His daughter mentioned in the
Indian Pioneer Interviews that he was a 'church going man' and once threw a
prairie preacher out of their house because he knew him to be a 'fraud'.
