Andrew R Massa was born Apr. 4 1842 in White county Tn. and died Jan 31 1915. He was the son of John Massa Jr and Susannah Duncan. He was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Burgess daughter of Charles Burgess and Margaret McBride. He was a potter and farmer and seved in the Tn. General Assembly as a representative from Putnam county 1909-1913. He is buried at West cemetery in Putnam county.
