R. F. Perkins died at his home two miles west of this city on Tuesday night, Dec. 3, 1912, after a brief illness, and will be buried in the city cemetery today. He was a Confederate soldier with a good record, and was highly esteemed by all who new him. He leaves a family of grown up children.
