"Blessed are the people who have a noble history and read it."
The Confederate Veteran was published monthly from 1893 to 1932. The magazine primarily contained articles pertaining to various Confederate Veteran organizations. However, it did have a special section called the "Roll Call." Nancie O'Sullivan has generously volunteered to transcribe many of the articles from this section. The Tennessee and the Civil War Project wishes to thank Nancie for her donations. Each of these articles are linked below. The Library of Virginia has online an index to some of the articles in the Confederate Veteran.
Margie Daniels (http://www.gagenweb.org) has the Confederate Veteran Records online for the year 1909 and are available in totality by clicking here. She has advised us that she will be placing more online soon.
