               Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Shelton of the County of Campbell and State of Tennessee have Bargained for and sold unto Robert D. Pearce a certain tract or parcel of Land on the Clear fork of Cumberland River begining on a large Sickemore ___ ____ the ____ of a Leland Pearces Corner thence along said condition line to sneed Creek thence up said Creek to the mouth of a small branch thence up said branch Woods Corner thence along sd. line to a beach and Elm on the River Bank thence down the River to the begining including my improvement for which I have Received full Satisfaction in Witness whereof I set my hand and seal this first day of December one thou -sand eight hundred and fourteen
