     Know all men by these presents that we Richard Linville Robert Smith Jacob Quinner and Daniel Martin are held and firmly bound unto Willie Blount Governor etc. and his successors in office in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars to the which payment well and truly to be made and done. We bind ourselves and each of our heirs Executors and Administators Jointly and Severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this 6th day of December In the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fourteen.

     The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Richard Linville hath been duly and Constitutionally Elected Sheriff of the County of Campbell in the State of Tennessee. Now if the said Richard Linville shall well and truly Collect and pay unto the public Treasury and County Trustees hands all the State and County Taxes that is or may become due during the time for which he is Elected Sheriff for the County of Campbell aforesaid then the above obligation to be void Otherwise to Remain in full force and virtue.
