     Know all men by these presents that we Richard Linville James Crowley, Spencer Graham, Simeon Wilhite Philip Brooks & Saml. Curtis all of the County of Campbell and State of Tennessee are held and firmly bound unto Willie Blount Esquire Governor of the State of Tennessee for the time being and his Successors in Office in the penal sum of five thousand dollars to which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs Executors Administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 8th day of December 1812

     The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas this day the above bound Richard Linville was duly Elected to the Office of Sheriff in and for the County of Campbell and if the said Richard Linville shall well and truly discharge the duties of said Office of Sheriff according to Law then the above obligation to be void Otherwise to remain in full force, virtue and Effect
