Know all men by these presents That we Michael Huffaker, Daniel White and Absolom Morris are held and firmly bound unto John Sevier Governor and his successors in office in the sum of five hundred Dollars. Which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our and each of our heirs Executors and administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our Seals and Dated this Second day of December 1806.

The Condition of the above Obligation is such that Whereas the above bounden Michael Huffacre has been duly appointed Sheriff of the County of Campbell in the state of Tennessee. Now if he shall Well and truly collect and pay into the public Treasury and County Trustees hands all the State and County taxes that is or may become due during the time for which he is appointed Sheriff for the County of Campbell aforesaid. Than the above Obligation to be void Otherwise to be and remain in full force and Virtue Test
