Anderson County. Offence: Petit Larceny. Sentence: 1 year. Rec'd
Nov 24th 1837. He is 18 ears old, five feet 6 inches high. Weighs
156 pounds. He has fair hair, Blue Eyes & fair Skin. Has
Two Small Scars on his forehead. Born in Anderson County about
2 Miles from Clinton on Clinch River. His Mother is Married
To a Man By the name of Benjamin GRAHAM. He has two Uncles living
in Blount County Alex SMITH. Colton KEELAND. They live within
2 Miles of Merr ville [Maryville]. Found guilty and sentenced
By The Circuit Court of Anderson County, To 1 year Confinement
in the Jail & Penitentiary house of The State of Tennessee.
It seems to be signed by W. McINTOSH.] Warren SMITH was discharged
Decr 5th 1838 having been detained 11 days for improper Conduct.
