Woman Is Shot At Lafollette

    Railroad Man Is Jailed On Charge Of Killing Her.

Lafollette-Mrs.Sophia Hatmaker was shot to death Friday was shot shot to death Friday at her home near here,and Charley Wright,45, was in Campbell County jail at Jacksboro,with murder.Sheriff R.D.Davis said Wright a railroad employe,admitted the shooting of the woman. He told sheriff that he objected to Mrs.Hatmaker taking his daughter out at night,and that the woman had taken her out anyway.
Wright is alleged to have gone to Mrs.Hatmaker's home carrying a piece of iron pipe in his hand.The woman according to his story, jerked it out of his hand and began beating him with it.Mrs.Hatmaker was
shot through the mouth and breast.The woman was married, but was not living with her husband
