This is William Harrison Roach married to Mary Elizabeth Chapman both buried at Glade Springs Baptist Church up the Valley off old Hwy 63. He was a cavalryman in the Union Army in the Civil War.  He went to Corbin, KY to join. Campbell County was held by the confederate army, however, the majority of citizens were loyal to the Union and left to join them.  He returned and lived til 1921.
