We, W.R. Mars, and wife Mary Mars of Campbell Co. Tennessee this day bargain deed sold, and do hereby transfer and convey unto Margaret Chapman and her heirs and assigns of Campbell County Tenessee in consideration of two hundred dollars, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged cash in hand paid the following described premises situate in the Fifth Civil District of Campbell Co. Tennessee and borders as follows: Beginning at a stone a corner of W. R. Mars. and Mrs. Hutsell are the top of the hill in the Grant line, thence with said line is a stone of ? poles, then Northward 79 1/2 poles to a stone to the side of the mountain, thence Northeast aat the side of the mountain 41 poles to the Old ? line between Isaac C. Petree and J. J. Mars, to the line between Mrs. Hutsell and W. R. Mars with said line Southward 96 1/2 poles to a stone in the Grant line the beginning Corner. Cause by estimation twenty one acres more or less. Serving a lane to the branch out acress the said land for a watering place for stock in ? wide. Now on record in Register's office at Jacksboro for full particulars reference is hereby made to said Deed in Book 27 Pages 494 abd 495. It is understood that if damages arise from the conditions of fair deed result from mining, trespassing or otherwise from ? said parties then herein Mrs. Chapman and ? Cook Aikens , and deed not to the parties of the first part hereto ? ? Mrs. Chapman or her heirs and assigns shall henceforth have all right and power to sue as proceeed by law for ? as fully as heirs W. R. Mars, his heirs and assigns, with the here diliverments and appurtenances there to appertaining, hereby releasing all claims to homestead and lower therein, also a right of way in and out for a mill road or otherwise along a wood road through the farm of said W. R. Mars-to have and to hold the fair premises. Wife of said purchaser, her heirs and assigns of owner and we covenant with her that we are lawfully linger? of said premises in fee and of said premises, and have good lright to convey to same, or that they are free from all encumbrances, or that they will forever warrant and defend the title thereto, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.All intereations ? ? done before signing Witness Our hands and seals the 13 day of May 1893

State of Tenessee Campbell Counmty Personally appeared before me a Nortary Public of said county to which the named bargainors, W. R. Mars and Mary E. Mars his wife with whom I am presonally acquainted, and who acknowledged that they executed the deed with in instrument for the purpose therein contained.And Mary E. Mars wife of the said W. R. Mars, having appeared before me privately and apart from her husband, said Mary E. Mars, acknowledged the execution of the said deed, and have been done by her freely, voluntarily.
