This page list those heads of households that had persons listed as "Free Colored Persons" or was listed as having slaves.  For households that listed Free White Person, click here. In each category, the census is broken down as follows:
 
  • Column 1: Under 10 years of age
  • Column 2: Of 10 and Under 24
  • Column 3: Of 24 and Under 36
  • Column 4: Of 36 and  Under 55
  • Column 5: Of 55 and Under 100
  • Column 6: Over 100

    Many times the census taker wrote down a number in a column and then wrote over it making it difficult to determine which number he actually intended. Most of the time it was a difference between a 0 and a 1. The number that it "most likely" looked like has been used in this document. An asterisks beside the number indicates that this number was difficult to determine. You might want to recheck the original census to see how you interpret the number.
