Robert C. Smith Cemetery
Location: southwest of Elm Buff on Old Highway 63, near the Campbell County- Claiborne Country boundary line. Behind the old Stone barn on the "The Little House" property, now owned by the Rice family. Surveyed 9/2000 There are six stones but only three with inscription on them. A few graves are marked with field stone, and others are unmarked. It is not fenced but evidence of a fence before. Full of briars and tall weeds. Not taken care of anymore. Smith, Robert C. 1766-12/10/1840 (age 74 years) Smith, Sarah M. 2/24/1772-8/13/1853 (age 81 years) Smith Susannah V., wife of Franklin M. 4/28/1812-9/11/1841 (age 29 years)
