Funeral services will be held
Friday, Jan 25 (1946), at the Ivers and Alcorn Mission chapel at 11
o'clock for Leslie Woodrow Duggan, 30, Planada, who died Tuesday at the
General Hospital of injuries
received in an automobile accident near Tuttle on Jan. 19. A resident
of
Planada for the past 15 years, Duggan was a World War II veteran who
served in the air offensive of Europe, Norway, Northern France,
Ardennes, Central Europe and the Rhineland. The deceased is survived by
his wife, Mrs. Mabel Jean Duggan (Lang), Planada; daughter Linda Carol
Duggan, Planada; parents, Robert and Chloe Duggan, Charleston, Tenn.;
sisters, Vera Belle Duggan and Ozell Duggan both of Charleston;
brothers, Clarence, Grady, Herman, Melvin, Robert, Edward and Charles
D. Duggan all of Charleston. Rev. J. V. Richards will officiate at the
funeral service and burial will take place at the Masonic cemetery.
