For a fee, the staff of the History Branch and Archives will attempt to answer basic genealogical or historical questions by correspondence. Only indexed sources will be searched. A maximum of five items may be request at a time. The basic search fee is $5.00. There is an additional fee for photocopies.
20¢per photocopy (books, monographs)
$1.00 per microfilm copy
$5.00 per death certificate if year of death, name of deceased and county of death are provided
$8.00 per death certificate if only the name of the deceased and year of death are provided
Fees are not refundable.
A self-addressed stamped envelope is required for reply.
Rare, fragile, and/or irreplaceable materials will not be photocopied. We reserve the right to refuse to photocopy materials which the staff determine may be damaged by photocopying.
