I am trying to find information on Berry WILLIAMS who was married to Florence MORRIS. Who were his parents? Where did he come from? They lived on what is now Berry WILLIAMS Road, in Townsend. The house is still there. Florence is a sister to my grand other, Josie MORRIS RAY. Both Josie and Florence are daughters of Albert and Cordia Morris (burried in Caylor Cemetary).

They first appear in the Cades Cove area of Blount Co. in the 1830 cencus.Their children were: Sarah b.1828 NC, Joel b. 1830 TN, Joshua b.1834 TN, Mary b. 1839 TN, Mela b. 1841 TN, JohnCalvin b.1843 TN, Winny Elizabeth b. 846 TN.Some of these ancestors lived in the Cove Creek area of Cades Cove until after Charles died, abt 1847. They then sold the family land of 130 acres and moved to Roane Co. TN. Does anyone know of my ancestors? I'm glad to share all my information.

Thomas LEWIS), * Nathan b. 1767 or 1777 (m. Hannah DIXON), Ephraim 1780-1866 (m. Sarah HINSHAW). Nathan & Hannah had Samuel 1800-1853 who married 1823 in Blount co, Mary HACKNEY 1805-1880, 11 children. Known siblings of J Holston are Mary, Sarah, Jane,Caroline,Andrew,Peter and Henrietta Roddy. I am trying to locate the parents of Alfred Roddy and any of his siblings also where he and Elizabeth are buried.
