My Email:Joyce Garner Alford

Other queries by Joyce Garner

Comments:
I am looking for an ancestor, Henry GARNER, born in Tennessee, around 1811. I think he may be the son of John GARNER and Rachel HENRY, married 1798 in Blount County. John GARNER is the son of John F(oushee) GARNER who came from Virginia to Sevier Co. in 1795 and then Blount Co. in 1796. John F. seems to have somewhat disinherited John as he left him only $2.00 in his will, leaving all other heirs substantially more. Henry married Zilpha erdue around 1838 and lived in Clinton Co., Kentucky. Thanks in advance for any help.

In the 1830 Census of Blount County, it shows my 3rd Great--grandfather, Solomon BOLTON. There were 7 in the family. They lived in the Hiwassee District at one time for 5 years. Where in Blount Co is this located? and how big is this district now. Is there anyone there now who may remember hearing their people speak of the Bolton's. If so please let me hear from you. This family came from South Carolina and made several trips back to see Solomon's father, Spencer Bolton. >From Blount Co, the Boltons moved to Marion Co and Rachael died on Sept 5, 1865. Solomon went to Illinois with a daughter and granddaughter and died on July 18, 1868. snail mail. Evelyn Sell P.O. Box 744 Chowchilla, CA 93610
