My great-great-grandmother, Harriet Alice FRESHOUR, was the daughter of Thomas FRESHOUR and ? ORFUTT, according to her death certificate. Harriet was born in CA and died in OR. She married Clark Roberson MCAFEE in CA. Thomas was born in TN and his wife wa s born in VA. In trying to track down Thomas's family, I found one Thomas in the 1850 Blount Co. census, the son of George FRESHOUR, age 45. Thomas was 14 at this census. However, I know there were many FRESHOURs in Greene and Cocke Cos. as well. I would like to know if Thomas really was the son of George, when/whom he married, and when he moved to CA.

I would like to share & trade information on my GRAVES ancestors of Blount and Sevier County. My line is as follows:
I am particularly interested in my great-great grandfather, Riley GRAVES, who served with the 3rd Tennessee Cavalry, USA during the Civil War. He married Elizabeth WILSON (born 4 Feb. 1829, died 22 July, 1906. They are buried in Ellejoy Cemetery.
