We, Abraham Lane and Martha Lane of State of Tennessee, County of Blount hereby and herein sell, transfer and convey to D. G. Farr, his heirs, assigns forever for the consideration of one dollar a certain parcel of land lying and being in the 18th Civil District of Blount County, the state of Tennessee beginning at the public road near A. Lane’s barn (?) thence up the branch towards the mountains with the staked line to Rhoda Chambers’ line near the popular corner. Said parcel of land being 12 ft wide containing ¼ acre more or less. To have and hold the said D. G. Farr, his heirs and assigns forever.
8th day of February 1888
