Howard - Lambert Cemetery

This cemetery is located off from Indian Warpath Road in southern Blount County. Until about 2000 it was in a farm field, but is now located in the Indian Grove housing sub-division. Everyone that we can determine is buried here are related in some way to the Howard family, either through descent or marriage.
This data is a combination of information in the Blount County Cemetery book by Edith Little and her team (circa 1980) as well as a fresh survey to determine the location of the various graves. This location survey was done in June of 2006. Some of the stones that were visible in 1980 have been damaged or broken. However, there was sufficient information to combine the surveys to get a comprehensive listing. Please bear in mind that mistakes in reading the stones are always a possibility. We have consulted various census records as well as other sources to determine the relationships of the people buried in this small family cemetery. Information in ( ) is from other sources besides these surveys.
