"And she is also entiltled to 2 dollars per month addtional for each of the following named children while living and under he age of sixteen years, to wit: Daniel S. to Apr 1, 1887; Samuel C. to 14 Jun 1889." Pension Records?: Civil War - Union - corporal in Co E 9th Tn Calvary 10-1-63 to 9-11-65 Bank PO. His disability was chronic diarrhea and rheumatism. The remarks "in the invalid corps" suggests simply that after being injured sometime during the war he remained in a "lim ited service" unit for the duration of the war.
