HAYS, HORN posted by Glenda Meyers , at Email: gsmeyers1@mchsi.com , on Saturday, April 6, 2002

I am searching for information on Hannah Hays, the wife of John Horn. John was born Jan. 23, 1782 in New Garden, Guildford County, NC. He married Hannah Horn in 1803 and they moved to Benton County, TN. Hannah was born in 1769 in SC. John was an Elder in the Primitive Baptist Church and later became a minister. Thier daughter, Abigail Horn married Albert Townsend. I was wondering if anyone knows about Hannah, or who her parents might have been, and if they might have come to Benton County also.

BUCKINGHAM posted by Bob Forrester , at Email: RGFSTAR@aol.com , on Tuesday, April 16, 2002

My mother, Ruby Buckingham, daughter of George William Buckingham and Amanda Andy Addla Dill, was born at Big Sandy. I do not have the exact location, but do know that much. I have searched for the family and can find nothing. She was born in 1896 and her father (George William Buckingham) was born in 1860. A lot of Buckinghams lived at land between the lakes area but I can't find anything there either. I do know that George's father was Johnny G. Buckingham. Might be spelled Johnnie. If you have any information I can use, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

PRESSON posted by Vl , at Email: tb_latz@hotmail.com , on Wednesday, April 24, 2002

I am looking for information on the following Pressons: Eulas, Eunice (Herron), George Washington, Rocena or Rosena, and any clarification on the line preceding George. Cherokee ancestry and conflicting accounts and records confuse research. Would also like to know George's sibling's names.

ARCHE, ARCHER, ARCHIE posted by Les ARCHE , at Email: Arche101@aol.com , on Wednesday, April 24, 2002

Looking for records of the parents of Hezekiah ARCHE. What we do know about Hezekiah are: 1. Born December 15, 1869 2. Goodlettsville, TN. Beyond that we know nothing. We are pretty confident that he changed his last name from ARCHER but have no solid proof. If there is any possible way to access records of births in Davidson County, please let me know
