I recently found that the names I was given for my great grandparents were incorrect. Lots of work to re-research. I am looking for any info on Louis Tom LOWERY and his wife Victory WATERS. I was told they lived in the Camden area. It is possible that he was blind. They had at least 2 children William b. 02 Jan 1911 d. Aug 1981 St. Louis MO m. Agnes (possibly Nutting) Ted (Theodore) m. Cora ? I have hit a large brick wall and would greatly appreciate a shove in the right direction.

Barry, James, Jane, Katherine and Henry. My line went to MO (Cape Girardeau, New Madrid, and Stoddard Counties). My Katherine married a ? Moore and died in childbirth of my grgrandmother, Mary Louisa Moore. Her father was then killed in Civil War and she was raised by her grandparents, Nobles (don't know their names). She married Paul Parrott.

Are they descended from the James Baker,born 1796, buried at Baker Cemetery on the TN River at Paris Landing? Martha Ruth Herrin, daughter of Wm Elisha Herrin and Mary Agnes Abimilick, married James Baker, 20 Nov 1795. Was Martha Ruth the second wife of James Baker? The James Baker born in 1796 is most likely the brother (or step-brother) of my gg grandfather, Christopher Charles Baker, born in Davidson Co about 1790.
