SUMMERS, WELLS
I need information on my ggg grandfather & ggg grandmother James(Jim) WELLS and Malinda SUMMERS. Jim was b. 1830. Malinda was b.1839. Malinda's parents were Charley SUMMERS & Lucy SUMMERS (theywere supposed to be cousins.) Malinda was reported to be halfCherokee and half Choctaw (maybe Chickasaw.)Malinda and Jim moved to Texas where they had a daughter, Mary AliceWELLS. Thank you.

I have his parents as William MEEK, Jr. and Mary ???born May 4, 1789, with children James and Mary Jane MEEK, wife if Eli Hugh HOPKINS. Mary Jane MEEK HOPKINS was born December 4, 1817. I have a very old picture, that was givin to me by my grandfather William Marse BESHIRES's sister.This picture is of my great grand mother & father,Lucinda DANIEL & Christopher Columbus "Lum" BESHIRES, sometimes spelled BESHIERS, BOSHERS or BRASHERS.In this picture,my grandmother is wearing a NativeAmer.dress and her hair is in 2 braids. She also has a bead necklace on.I am at a lose as to which nation she belongs.Her mother was Nancy"Nann"HANKINS and father James William DANIEL.He was from Madison Co.I think that she got her Native Amer. heritage, through her mother, as tradition dictates.I also have a picture of Lucinda's sister,Alice DANIEL,in a dress that appears to be of Native Amer.in nature.Is there any one who can help me with this by looking at the style of these dresses?I can send pictures via e-mail.Lum and Lucinda were married in Hardeman Co. on 4-11-1891 d.Chester Co.Lum's parents lived in Hardin Co.,at Shiloh Park,in the peach orchard cabin,1862.Please help with any history of these surnames.

There is a Sara Williams on the Dawes Roll. Is she my ggg-grmother? My Sara Williams was married to Dr.(?) John Dalrymple and her daughter, Estell married Samuel Martin Tidmore. They produced Minnie Mae Tidmore who married James Lewis Masters, son of William Addison Masters and Myrtie Tinnie whose parents were Bush Ridgwaw and Seburn Tinnie. James and Minnie Mae, my great grandparents were born in the late 1800's and passed away in the 1980's. My mother believes several of these people may have been native American/cherokee. William ALLEN Rev. War soldier from North Carolina who married Mary LEWIS and was in Wilson (Sumner) County, TN. Is Lewis ALLEN born 1760-1773 their son? Searching for the parents of a Peterson Grammer. Peterson married Mary Ann Massey. 2nd marriage to Spicy Ann Cobble. Moved to Texas. Peterson Grammer was born l/29/l832 and died l0/27/l893 and is buried in the Lowe's Chapel Cemetery in Cherokee County, Texas near the city of Rusk, Texas. Spicy Ann Cobble was born 6/6/l849 and died l0/27/l889 and she is also buried in the Lowe's Chapel Cemetery in Cherokee County, Texas. Any information on the parents of this Peterson Grammer and information on Mary Ann Massey and her family would be greatly appreciated. We think this Peterson Grammer was born in (possibly) Bedford County, Tennessee. His father could possibly have been born in Ga.
