    I need information on my ggg grandfather & ggg grandmother James(Jim) WELLS and Malinda SUMMERS. Jim was b. 1830. Malinda was b.1839. Malinda's parents were Charley SUMMERS & Lucy SUMMERS (theywere supposed to be cousins.) Malinda was reported to be halfCherokee and half Choctaw (maybe Chickasaw.)Malinda and Jim moved to Texas where they had a daughter, Mary AliceWELLS. Thank you.

    I have a very old picture, that was givin to me by my grandfather William Marse BESHIRES's sister.This picture is of my great grand mother & father,Lucinda DANIEL & Christopher Columbus "Lum" BESHIRES, sometimes spelled BESHIERS, BOSHERS or BRASHERS.In this picture,my grandmother is wearing a NativeAmer.dress and her hair is in 2 braids. She also has a bead necklace on.I am at a lose as to which nation she belongs.Her mother was Nancy"Nann"HANKINS and father James William DANIEL.He was from Madison Co.I think that she got her Native Amer. heritage, through her mother, as tradition dictates.I also have a picture of Lucinda's sister,Alice DANIEL,in a dress that appears to be of Native Amer.in nature.Is there any one who can help me with this by looking at the style of these dresses?I can send pictures via e-mail.Lum and Lucinda were married in Hardeman Co. on 4-11-1891 d.Chester Co.Lum's parents lived in Hardin Co.,at Shiloh Park,in the peach orchard cabin,1862.Please help with any history of these surnames.
