ROGERS, GARNER/GARDNERResearching the JOSEPH D. ROGERS family. He was born in
one of theCarolina's in Abt. 1787. He married a CASSANDRA ?
. I do not knowif he moved to Tennessee as a child or adult,
but it appears that hischildren were born in Tennessee.
According to family records, theylived in both Bedford and
Rutherford Counties. He moved in abt. 1837to Texas and I
believe most of his adult children moved with him. Ihave not
found any record of two of his daughters in Texas, so
thinkthey perhaps were already married and remained in
Tennessee. Theirnames are: NANCY ROGERS - who married
WILLIAM GARNER/GARDNER and hersister, MALINDA ROGERS - who
married THOMAS GARNER/GARDNER (possibly brothers ). I do not
have the birth dates of NANCY orMALINDA ROGERS, but they
would have been born between the years1807-1824 judging by
siblings birthdates. Any possible clues wouldbe very much
appreciated about MALINDA OR NANCY ROGERS GARNER/GARDNERand
also for JOSEPH D. ROGERS and his parents/siblings. Thank
you.
