Mary Ruth Yarnell, 76, Yarnell Road, Clinton, died Wednesday at Briarcliff Health Care Center after a short illness.
Mrs. Yarnell was born Feb. 5, 1917, in Calvert City, KY, to the late Robert and Daisy Lindsey. She was reared in Kentucky.
Mrs. Yarnell was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Clinton and she enjoyed sewing and being a homemaker.
She attended South Clinton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, K.P. Yarnell of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde E. (Mary Ann) Bullock of Lake City; a son; Charles Yarnell of Clinton; grandchildren, Aaron Byrd and Chris Yarnell; step-grandchildren, Danielle Bullock, Travis Bullock and Nathan Bullock; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Raymond Sanderson and the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Burial was Saturday morning at Zion Cemetery.
