Georgia C. Warwick, 89, of Andersonville died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Andersonville.
Mrs. Warwick was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Ross DeMarcus and Martha Hutchison DeMarcus; husband, Lawrence F. Warwick; sisters, Willie E. Warwick and Lucy Ezell; and one brother, Fred DeMarcus.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Warwick and wife Lois and Venturia Warwick and wife Darlene, all of Andersonville; four daughters, Bernice Warwick of Norris, Marjorie Unthank and husband David of New Lisbon, IN, Fay Emmett and husband David of Halls, and Patsy Buchanan and husband Pete of Powell.
Mrs. Warwick is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6-8 pm Friday, April 16, in the Anderson County Funeral Home chapel, with the funeral service at 8 pm.
The graveside service was 11 am Saturday, April 17, in Mount Olive Cemetery, Andersonville, with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating.
