Obituary – Warwick, Dallas Leonard, 1992

Dallas Leonard Warwick, 69, died Friday morning at his home on Andersonville Rt. 2. He had sustained a stroke about six years ago and had been in failing health since that time.

Mr. Warwick was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was employed by the Dempster Brothers Co. for over 32 years.

He was a member of Andersonville Valley Masonic Lodge, F&AM.

A native of Anderson County, his parents were the late Ledford and Drusha Warwick.

He had enjoyed fishing, traveling and gardening before he became ill.

A brother, Everett Warwick, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Helen Warwick; sisters, Ruth Warwick and Pauline Humphrey, both of Andersonville; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services were held Sunday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Berney Hutchison, the Rev. Bedford Bullock and the Rev. O. W. Willis officiating. Burial was in King Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
