Obituary – Walker, Robert Russell, 1992

Robert Russell Walker, 73, of East Wolf Valley Road, Clinton Rt. 7, died Monday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Knoxville

Services will be at 2 pm Thursday in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Glenn Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Zion Baptist Church in Claxton.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 pm Wednesday.

Mr. Walker was retired from Bruin’s Supply Co. in Knoxville where he had worked as a cabinet maker for many years.

He was a World War II veteran. A native of Green County, Wisc., he was of the Methodist faith.

His parents were the late Charles and Ada Pickett Walker.

Survivors include wife, Ora Louise Walker; daughters, Mrs. Randall (Linda) Walker of Powell, Carolyn Walker of Clinton and Lora Walker Merical of Claxton; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Candy Walker of Clinton; grandchildren, Tammy and Allen Daughtery, David James Littleton, Christopher Alan Merical, James Franklin Merical, Kandace Marie Merical and Nels Arthur Robert Walker, Lisa Nicole Walker; one great-grandchild, Amber Nicole Daughtery; sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Harriett) Meland of LaMesa, CA, Mrs. Bill (Evelyn) Simmons of Wellington, NV; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Mary Walker of Sierra Vista, AZ; several nieces and nephews.
