Nell McGhee Austin of Lake City died Jan. 6 at her home.
A native of Briceville, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Austin was affiliated with the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Austin and parents, John Richard and Ida Webb McGhee.
Survivors include a sister, Bertha Brummitt of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Monday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Johnny Owens officiating. Burial was in the Methodist Cemetery.
