Johnny Aslinger, age 32, of Lake City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born Oct. 2, 1969 in Bellview, OH.
He was of the Church of God faith. Johnny loved racing cars on the dirt track.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Lona Aslinger.
Survivors: father, Paul Aslinger of Lake City; daughter, Paula Aslinger of Sunbright; brothers, Otis Kevin Aslinger and Harold Dean Aslinger both of Lake City; nephews, Cody Aslinger of Raccoon Valley, Dillion Aslinger of Vasper; many special friends.
Visitation was 6-8 pm Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service followed at 8 pm, Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 in the Cox-Martin Chapel with Brother Arthur Bragg and the Rev. Jimmy Seiber officiating.
Interment was at 11 am Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Lake City.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.
