Obituary – Aslinger, Johnny, 1994

Johnny Aslinger, 42, of Lake City, died Wednesday in his brother’s home.

He was born June 15, 1952, in Anderson County, the son of Isaac and Bertha Moody Aslinger. Mr. Aslinger was of the Baptist faith and had worked in the carpet mills in Dalton, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Brock Aslinger of Lake City; daughter, Keisha Monique Aslinger of Lake City; step-son, Michael Brock of Lake City; and his parents, Isaac and Bertha Moody Aslinger of Lake City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude Aslinger of Lake City, Larry and Lois Aslinger of Jacksboro, Frank Aslinger of Lake City, Tommy Aslinger of Jacksboro, and Eugene and Tammy Aslinger of Lake City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye Ward of Farmington, MI, Virginia Miracle of Lake City, Mary Helen and Orville Owens of Redford, MI, Wanda Hall of Livonia, MI, Joan and John L. Brown, and Ruby and Allen Vickery, all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Saturday in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Warner Hawkins and the Rev. Clyde Daugherty officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.
