Scarboro Wedding
Scarboro, Aug. 2 – On last Sunday evening Rev. Middleton securely fastened the nuptial halter on Mr. William Henning of Robertsville and Miss Lizzie Holt of this place. It was a quiet affair, only a few of their most intimate friends being present.
The groom is one of Anderson County’s foremost pedagogues and the bride is a nurse from Knoxville General Hospital where she is well respected. She is the daughter of the late G. H. Holt, a former merchant of this place, and will be greatly missed by her host of friends here, as she goes to Robertsville to her new home.
We extend our congratulations and wish for them that the happiest days of their past may be the saddest ones of their future.
