Obituary of Andrew D. Foust, 1977:
Foust, Andrew D. – age 69, residence Powell, Rt. 8, Claxton Community, passed away at Oak Ridge Hospital on Saturday evening. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 376, F&AM. He was a retired deputy for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Dept. for 24 years. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Pearl Foust; daughter, Mrs. Frances Householder, Richmond, Va.; son, Jennings Foust, Clinton; sister, Mrs. Irene Ridings, Powell; brothers, Harb Foust, Powell, Gene and Ed Foust, both of Clinton; grandchildren, Laurie, Devin and Callie Householder; several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements incomplete. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton, in charge.
