Obituary of Vivian Louise Wallace Swatzell, 2002:

Vivian Louise Wallace Swatzell, age 42, of Lake City, departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002.

Louise was born Jan. 26, 1959 in Knoxville.

She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by: parents, Ulis and Agnes Wallace; sisters, Kathy Wallace and Elizabeth Burris; brother, Jerry Wallace.

Survivors: husband, Johnny Mark Swatzell of Lake City; daughter, Crystal Swatzell of Lake City; son, Johnny Swatzell of Lake City; mother-in-law, Ethel Swatzell of Lake City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Butch and Doris Swatzell of Lake City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Charles Goodman, Carol and Johnny Bruce, all of Andersonville, Sharon and Homer Settles of Clinton; sisters, Mary Maiden and Lisa Farmer, both of Andersonville; brother-in-law, Tommy Burris of Andersonville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002 at New Home Baptist Church in Andersonville with the Rev. James McCoy officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at New Home Cemetery.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
