Obituary of Wayne Stooksbury, 1998:
WAYNE STOOKSBURY, Age 50, of Clinton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, October 4, 1998, at his residence. He was employed at Lockheed Martin Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tenn. as a material handler and welder. His hobbies were raising cattle, gardening and wood working. He was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church in Lake City, Tenn. Preceded in death by mother, Maggie Stooksbury and aunt, Lizzie Stooksbury. Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay Cook Stooksbury of Clinton; daughter, Vonda and husband, Stephen Holder of Powell; son, Brian Wayne Stooksbury of Clinton, Tenn. Funeral service will be 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 1998, at the Holley-Gamble Chapel in Clinton with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCarty Woodhaven Memorial Garden. Family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
