Obituary of Thomas Cloyd Sain, 1995:

Thomas Cloyd Sain, 74, formerly of Norris, died Saturday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Sain retired from Martin Marietta after 20 years of services as a mechanical engineer senior inspector. He was a member of Norris Religious Fellowship. Mr. Sain served six years in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edgar and Vera Fullerton.

Survivors include his wife, Olive Campen Sain of Rogersville; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Troy Foster of Alcoa; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Robin Sain of Norris, Riley and Sue Sain of Clinton and Scott and Pam Sain of Norris; grandchildren, Lindy Foster and Abby, Andy, Alex, Dylan and Colby Sain; sister, Juanita McHenry of Salt Lake City, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Monday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Robert Coombs and the Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial was Tuesday in Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery, Manchester.
