Obituary of Robert Henry Sadler, 1994:

Robert Henry (Jack) Sadler, 72, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Clinton, died April 17 in York V.A. Medical Center.

Mr. Sadler was born May 12, 1921 in Jackson County. A homebuilder, he built many homes in this area. He also owned Sadler Lumber Co.

A member of the Church of Christ he also belonged to the National Association of Homebuilders. Mr. Sadler was an Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed golf as a pastime.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Sadler of Murfreesboro; sons, Richard Sadler of Murfreesboro; Stanley Sadler of Nashville; Michael Sadler of Clinton; daughter, Martha Ameika of Charleston, SC; a brother, John Sadler of Clinton; six sisters, Margaret Allen of Clinton; Jean Smith of Oak Ridge; Alice Minchey of Goodlettsville; June Miller of Clinton; Betty Sadler of Florida; and Nancy Sadler of California; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 am Thursday in Jennings-Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church Street, Murfreesboro. The family will receive friends 5-9 pm on Wednesday. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
