Obituary of Fletcher R. Overton, 1969:
Funeral services for Fletcher R. Overton, 71, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sinking Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Ingram and the Rev. David Hanes officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Overton died last Thursday morning at St. Mary’s Hospital following a long illness. The retired cattleman leaves his wife, a brother and step-mother.
