Obituary of Ida Mae Holsted, 1971:

Mrs. Holsted heart victim rites are today.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday (today) at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Ida Mae Holsted, 84, who died Tuesday at Oak Ridge Hospital of a heart attack.  Tommy Irons will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.

She was born in Middle Tennessee and resided at 123 Cherokee Avenue in South Clinton at the time of her death.  She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ.

She leaves her husband, C. C. (Slim) Holsted; a daughter, Mrs. Carl R. Hicks of Hilliard, Fla.; a son, Tommy C. Holsted of Memphis; three grandchildren, Jean Ann and Wayne Scott (Scotty) Hicks of Fla.  and Anthony Brian (Tony) Holsted of Memphis; two brothers, Frank W. Reed of Oak Ridge and Roy Reed of Manchester; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Sewell of Chattanooga.
