Obituary of Hattie J. Sharp, 1970:
Services held for Mrs. Sharp at Lake City. The mother of eight children, Mrs. Hattie J. Sharp, 77, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at Lake City Hospital. She was the wife of Sherman Sharp, Jacksboro Highway at Lake City Rt. 2.
She was a member of First Baptist Church at Lake City.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cox Funeral Home chapel in Lake City with the Rev. Charles Noss officiating. Burial was in Longfield Cemetery.
She leaves her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Wright of Maywood, Calif., Mrs. Willie Wilczynski of Toledo and Mrs. Edna German of Hudson, Fla.; five sons, Roy of Toledo, Jack of Hacienda Heights, Calif., Gene of Hudson, Fla., Bobby of Joilet, Ill., and Carl of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Laura Tiller of LaFollette; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
