Obituary of Evelyn Elizabeth Foust, 1992:
Evelyn Elizabeth Foust, 45, of Lake City Rt. 2 died of cancer May 27 at her home.
An Anderson County native, she was the daughter of the late Edison Ralph and Margaret Evelyn Lindsay White.
Mrs. Foust had been married to Jerry M. Foust since April 27, 1968.
She was a member of North Clinton Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
A homemaker, a favorite pastime was sewing.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jennifer Foust, a kindergarten student in Lake City; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam and Erin Foust of Oak Ridge and Jason Foust, a freshman at Anderson County High School; two grandchildren, Aowin and Nicholas Foust, both of Oak Ridge; a sister, Mary Greene of Knoxville; two brothers, James White of Toledo, OH and John White of Fraterville.
Funeral service were held Saturday at North Clinton Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Burial will be at Leach Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home in Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
