Obituary of Effie Cox Foster, 1986:
A member of the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, Mrs. Effie Cox Foster, 91, of Heiskell Rt. 1, died Sunday morning at her home.
Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Elwood Cox and his wife, Mrs. Nola Mae Cox. She is survived by a son, Robert L. Cox of Cheneyville, LA; 11 grandsons; three granddaughters; 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Glenn Hall and Bill Moore officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at 11 am Wednesday (today).
