Obituary of Dora Cooper Disney, 1971:

Mrs. Disney, Cherry Bottom, dies Saturday.  Mrs. Dora Cooper Disney, 60, of the Cherry Bottom community, Caryville Rt. 1, died Saturday afternoon at LaFollette Community hospital.

Mrs. Disney, who suffered from cancer, had been hospitalized several times, the last time for four weeks before her death.

She was a member of Cherry Bottom Baptist Church.  She was born and reared in Elk Valley near Jellico.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cherry Bottom Baptist Church with the Rev. James Byrd officiating.  Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Fletcher; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Goodman of Lynchburg, Va.; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Edith) Webber of 906 Hendrickson St., Clinton; two brothers, Winston Cooper of Murfreesboro and Bert Cooper of Addison, Ill.
