Obituary of Charlie R. Foust, 1994:

Charlie R. Foust, 91 of Clinton, died Sunday morning in his residence.

The son of Hugh L. and Sarah Beach Foust, he was born Nov. 4, 1903, in Anderson County. Mr. Foust was owner and operator of Foust Supermarket in South Clinton for several years. He was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church, Clinton Masonic Lodge 376 F&AM and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Mae Foust of Clinton; daughters and sons-in-law, Irma and Les Johnson and Norma and Lowell Hohman, all of Clinton; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Nancy Foust of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren, Denise, Cheryle, David, Michael, Allan, Callie and Sheri; two sisters, Ethel Hatmaker of Lake City and Georgia Loving of Hillvale community; and several nieces and nephews.

Masonic and funeral services were Monday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Raymond Sanderson officiating. Burial was in Tennessee Valley Memory Garden.
