Obituary of Charley Edward Foust, 1999:

Charley Edward Foust, age 86, of York Road, Halls Crossroads, passed away Friday, March 19, 1999 at Mariner Health Care Center.

Mr. Foust was a retired heavy-equipment operator for the city of Wayne, MI. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Anderson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Foust; daughter, Wanda Kaye Foust; son, Kyle E. Foust; and brothers, Andrew and Tom Foust.

Survivors: wife, Daisy Mae Foust of Knoxville; sons, the Rev. Larry and wife Joyce Foust of Clinton and Charles David and wife Patricia Foust of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Christopher D. Foust, Denise Palmer, Amy Phillips and Matthew Foust; sister, Irene Riddings of Nashville; brothers, Harvey and Gene Foust, both of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 7-8:30 pm Sunday March 21 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services followed in the Holley-Gamble Chapel with the Rev. Moss Beets and Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating.

Interment was 10:30 am Monday, March 22 in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens., Claxton.
