Elizabeth Ruth Edwards Mitchell, 69, passed away Sept. 30 after a long illness.
Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Miller Avenue United Church of Christ, and was a housewife.
She is survived by husband, Samuel Jr.; daughter, Marilyn Mitchell of Uniontown; sons, John Holbrook of Akron, Gerald Holbrook of Copley, Jody Holbrook of Toledo; and grandchildren.
There will be no Akron calling hours. Flowers can be sent to Holley Gamble Chapel, Clinton, Tenn. Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, 1 p.m., at Black Oak Cemetery. (Prentice, 753-7721.)
